magnets
Samarium-cobalt magnets are a type of rare earth magnet made from samarium, cobalt, and other metal rare earth materials in a certain proportion. Developed in 1970, samarium-cobalt magnets are the second most powerful magnets today, characterized by high maximum energy product (BHmax), high coercivity, brittleness, and tendency to crack. The maximum energy product of samarium-cobalt magnets ranges from 9 MGOe to 31 MGOe. The coercivity is 9750 oersted, the Curie temperature is 825°C, and the maximum operating temperature is 350°C. They have very good coercivity and good temperature stability, but they are expensive and prone to price fluctuations.
